Changxu Sun

Changxu Sun has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Portfolio Prioritization Lead at bp since July 2008, with previous roles including Numerical Simulation Discipline Lead and Reservoir Management Consultant. Changxu Sun has represented bp in advising ADNOC onshore, focusing on waterflood management and long-term development planning. Other notable positions include Field Development Planning Leader for the Rumaila Field, leading reservoir engineering efforts at Kuwait Oil Company, and constructing numerical simulation models. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Buckingham and a Master's in Reservoir Engineering from IFP School, along with an MSc in Petroleum Geology and a Bachelor's in Petroleum Exploration.
