Charles Groover is a seasoned procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Category Advisor for Global Rigs at bp since June 2023, Groover focuses on drilling and intervention vessel contracts in the western hemisphere. Previously, Groover held the position of Director of Procurement & Supply Chain at Quantum Energy Partners, where responsibilities included leading cross-portfolio procurement initiatives and managing the quarterly contractual adjustment process. With a significant tenure at bp from 2008 to 2021, Groover advanced through numerous roles, including Development PSCM Manager, overseeing a substantial annual drilling budget, and various leadership positions in drilling, completions, and supply chain integration.
