Chingiz Hajiyev

Chingiz Hajiyev is the Vice-President of Business Development for Caspian at BP, with 27 years of extensive experience in various finance roles across commercial operations, planning, performance management, and business development. They have held key positions such as Azeri Asset Controller, Rumaila CFO, and Exploration Finance Manager, demonstrating expertise in Production Sharing Agreements and a deep understanding of both upstream and midstream operations in the oil and gas sector. Currently, Chingiz is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State Economic University along with an MBA from the University of Warwick. Respected for their analytical and commercial acumen, Chingiz is known for effectively managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering results in teamwork settings.
