Chris Bannister

Chris Bannister is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in automotive engineering. From December 2014 to July 2019, Chris served as an Associate Professor at the University of Bath, focusing on research, teaching, and departmental management. Prior to this role, Chris was a Lecturer at the same institution, concentrating on alternative fuels and vehicle emissions research. Chris's industry experience includes positions as a Development Engineer at Ricardo and as a Team Leader at bp, initially overseeing test methods and currently leading a team in computational modeling. Chris holds a Master’s and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, acquired between 1998 and 2006.
