Chris Martin is an experienced process engineer currently serving as an Expert Process Engineer at bp since June 2022, previously holding the title of Senior Process Engineer - Hydrogen. Prior to this, Chris spent over a decade at Johnson Matthey, where key contributions included leading a reverse WGS and FT process pilot plant in 2021, managing gas-based methanol proposals, and overseeing the commissioning of a towns gas expansion project. Earlier roles included significant experience as a Production Engineer focusing on new product introduction and process optimization. Chris also completed an internship at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics in 2009, creating training materials for operators at a new flu vaccine production site. Chris holds a 2:1 degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, earned between 2006 and 2010.
