Christian Archard has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance planning within the oil and gas industry, spanning over two decades. At INPEX, from August 2015 to January 2020, Christian served as an Offshore Activity Planner for the Ichthys Venturer FPSO, where processes were developed to integrate Japanese business principles and enhance schedule coordination between offshore and onshore teams. Prior to this role, Christian worked at Petrofac in various capacities, including Operations Mechanical Technician and Senior Mechanical Planner, focusing on the safe operation of mechanical equipment and the development of maintenance activities. Experience also includes positions at Koso Kent Introl Ltd as a Control and Choke Valve Engineer and Score Group plc as a Valve Service and Maintenance Engineer, along with a current role at BP as a Maintenance Specialist for the GTA Tortue Ahmeyim LNG Project since March 2020, leading maintenance programs and optimizing SAP standards. Christian holds a Modern Apprenticeship Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Huddersfield Technical College.
