Colin Walling

Colin Walling has extensive experience in geology, starting as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2005, while also earning a MS and PhD in Geology. Colin's professional career includes roles as a Geoscience intern at ConocoPhillips and as a Geologist and Sedimentologist at BP from 2005 to 2011. Subsequent positions include serving as a Deepwater Sedimentologist and later as a Senior Geologist at bp, focusing on global unconventionals and deepwater exploration projects. Colin also briefly worked as an Advisor Geology with Hess Corporation, contributing to Gulf of Mexico Miocene Exploration. Colin holds a BS in Geology from the University of Iowa, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
