Dale Dougherty

Dale Dougherty is a highly experienced professional in the field of control systems and automation, with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Control System Specialist at bp since June 2012, Dale is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of HONEYWELL Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and associated equipment, providing technical expertise, managing upgrades, and implementing performance improvements. Prior to this role, Dale was Vice President and co-founder of Cimcor, Inc., overseeing financial operations and project management. Earlier experience includes roles as Automation Manager at Kvaerner Metals, where management of a 23-member engineering team was key, and various engineering positions at Alliance Group Technologies Corporation and Kvaerner Metals. Dale holds degrees in Electrical Engineering & Technology and Computer Science from Valparaiso Technical Institute, Purdue University Northwest, and Wharton County Jr. College.
