Damian Tom is a highly experienced, commercially driven oil and gas corporate lawyer with over 20 years of multifaceted experience. Currently serving as a Senior Tax Manager for bp since 2024, Damian previously held the role of Legal Counsel at bp from 2012 to 2024 and was the Head of Legal at the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation from 2005 to 2007. Damian's expertise spans the entire oil and gas value chain, and they have successfully negotiated significant multi-million dollar transactions for global multinationals. Educated at The University of the West Indies, Hugh Wooding Law School, and the University of London, Damian holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Legal Education Certificate, and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law.
