David Armstrong

David Armstrong is currently the VP of Strategy and Sustainability in Procurement at bp, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as Procurement Director for the Net Zero Teesside and Biofuels/Hydrogen projects, focusing on integrated energy solutions. David's extensive experience in procurement at bp includes various roles, such as Category Specialist for Offshore Rigs and Procurement Specialist in Global Operations, where they managed sourcing projects in key international markets. David also holds a 1st Class Masters in Organic Chemistry from Durham University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
