David Hay is a Chartered Control and Automation Engineer with extensive experience in the field of cyber security and operational technology. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Risk Officer at bp since 2021, David previously held various engineering leadership roles within the company, including Lead I&C Engineer for an LNG train project and Lead Subsea Controls Engineer in West Africa. David began their career with an undergraduate placement as a Process Control Engineer at bp after earning a BSc/BEng in Electronic, Computer and Systems Engineering from Loughborough University.
