David Kurt

David Kurt is an experienced professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the VP of Terminals and Pipelines at bp since October 2020, overseeing the management of 3,300 miles of pipelines and assets in multiple countries including the US, UK, France, Turkey, and South Africa. Prior to this role, David held various management positions at bp including Production Manager at Whiting Refinery, where oversight was provided for a team of shift managers and supervisors, and Business Improvement Manager, leading initiatives that significantly enhanced refinery performance. Additionally, David served as Area Manager for Hydroprocessing and Utilities and as Maintenance Manager at Whiting, where responsibilities included managing operations and a large maintenance team. David holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The Ohio State University.
