David Lackenby

David Lackenby is a Geoscience Senior Advisor at bp, where they are responsible for capability development and technical verification for geoscientists in the western hemisphere. Previously, they held various positions, including Director of Geology for the Western Hemisphere at bp and Petroleum Geologist at Fugro Robertson Ltd., where they completed numerous basin scale assessments globally. With an M.Sc. in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a B.Sc. in Geology from Queen's University Belfast, David has built expertise in CCUS, regional geology, and international exploration throughout their extensive career.
