David Wedlake is currently the Process Safety Engineering Discipline Lead (wells) at bp, a role held since 2021. Previously, they worked as a Principal Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer at Foster Wheeler from 2009 to 2011, where they developed process design packages and supervised process engineers. David's expertise includes process simulation and safety techniques, having contributed significantly to the Global Well Organization (GWO) at bp from 2016 to 2019. They hold a degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University, obtained in 2001.
