Dean Ellis

Dean Ellis is the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Partnerships & Low Carbon for BP, overseeing a team that supports various energy sectors across the Americas, including regulatory risk management for natural gas and renewable energy. Prior to this role, Dean served as the Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Communications at Dynegy, where a comprehensive regulatory affairs program was managed across multiple states, and internal communications were coordinated. Dean’s earlier experience includes roles at NYISO as Manager of Operations Planning, MSE Power Systems as Project Manager and Engineer for high-voltage facility projects, and Central Hudson Gas & Electric in similar project management positions. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
