Deirdre Ceannt

Deirdre Ceannt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial funding and treasury management. Currently serving as VP Commercial Funding and Integration Director at bp since February 2022, Deirdre has previously held key positions at Bank of Ireland from January 2018 to February 2022, including Head of Resolution Planning and Head of Term Funding and Securitisation. Prior roles include Vice President of Foreign Direct Investment at Bank of Ireland Corporate and Markets, Assistant Portfolio Manager at Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited, and Relationship Manager at Anglo Irish Bank. Deirdre holds an MA in Modern East Asian Studies from Durham University and a BA in History & Economics from University College Dublin, alongside additional education from the Institute of Bankers and the Institute of Education.
