Detrick Grimes

Detrick Grimes is an accomplished procurement and logistics professional with extensive experience in the energy and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Head of Project Procurement for bp's Asia Pacific Offshore Wind division since November 2010, Detrick successfully established the first offshore wind procurement department for the region. Previous roles at bp include Site Procurement Manager and Team Lead for Services Procurement, overseeing significant procurement activities for the Cherry Point Refinery. Prior to bp, Detrick held various positions at Motorola Inc., managing procurement across multiple categories, and served in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included logistics and supply chain management for large-scale operations. Detrick holds an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
