Doug Mitchell is currently a Midstream Safety Advisor at BPX Energy in the Permian region. They have over 15 years of experience in safety and quality control within the pipeline industry, having previously worked as a Lead Safety Advisor for BP and as a Safety Technician at MBF Inspection Services. Doug also held various roles at Elkhorn Construction/Holdings where they managed safety oversight and compliance tasks. They earned multiple degrees in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University and became a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
