Douglas Smith

Douglas Smith is an experienced Planner and Scheduler currently serving as the Maintenance Execution Scheduling Discipline Lead at bp. With a demonstrated history in the oil and energy industry, Douglas has worked in various roles, including Instrumentation and Electrical Commissioning Superintendent at GE and Certified Electrician at Davis Electrical. Douglas has held multiple scheduling positions at bp since 2004, including Site Integrator for Nakika and Functional Scheduler for Maintenance and Reliability. Currently, Douglas is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler, building upon an educational background that includes a Bachelor's and Associate's degree from the University of North Dakota and Houston Community College, respectively.
