Ehsan Saadatpoor

Ehsan Saadatpoor is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in various capacities across leading organizations in the petroleum industry. Ehsan's career began as a Reservoir Engineer at Schlumberger, where a methodology for waterflood management was developed for the North Kuwait oil field. Ehsan further contributed to the field as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on geological CO2 storage mechanisms and modeling CO2 EOR/storage projects. As a Reservoir Engineering Consultant for C12 Energy, Ehsan developed reservoir flow models for CO2 storage projects. Currently, Ehsan serves as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at bp, working on reservoir management and development planning for the Mad Dog Phase 2 project in the Gulf of Mexico. Ehsan holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Master’s and two Bachelor’s degrees in Petroleum and Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
