Ella Hunt

Ella Hunt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety, environmental management, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as a Business Advisor to the SVP North Sea and previously as a Senior HSE & Carbon Advisor at bp since 2012, Ella focuses on driving improvements in process and personal safety, as well as environmental and carbon management. This role includes representing BP on the Step Change in Safety Workforce Engagement Support Team. In addition to expertise in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Ella has managed regulatory permits, conducted environmental and social baseline surveys, and developed HSE awareness training materials. Ella also serves as a board member for the Lerwick Port Authority since July 2021. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geoscience from the University of St Andrews.
