Erick Danyi, P.E. is a seasoned professional in process engineering with a focus on carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and hydrogen technologies. Since joining bp in January 2020 as a Process Engineer for CCUS & Hydrogen, Erick has advanced technology development, provided engineering support for project concepts, and cultivated collaborative relationships across various sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor for Hydrogen & CCUS, Erick offers insight into hydrogen's role in the energy transition and contributes to bp's Energy Outlook report. Previous roles at bp include Environmental Specialist and Process Engineer in refining, where Erick managed compliance, monitored emissions, and optimized process performance.
