Erol Alavi is currently the Lead Pipeline Integrity Engineer at bp, a position held since 2024. Previously, Erol worked at Energy Transfer as an Engineering Manager for Asset Integrity and at Plains All American, where they served in various roles related to pipeline integrity from 2019 to 2021. Erol’s experience also includes positions at Cummins Inc. as a Manufacturing/HSE Engineer and at 2H Offshore as an Integrity Engineer. Erol holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston and is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Subsea Oil & Gas Engineering Certificate from the same institution, while also studying Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.
