Esther Thomson

Esther Thomson is a Senior Executive and General Manager specializing in Strategy and Step Change Performance within the FMCG and Retail sectors. They have held key roles in various organizations, including General Manager at Botany Group since 2022 and General Manager Retail at bp since 2025. Esther previously served as Director of Sales for Tip Top at Fonterra from 2019 to 2021, where they led the creation of a standalone Sales and Category team. Their extensive experience also includes roles at McDonald’s Corporation, Z Energy NZ, and API Consumer Brands, among others, alongside a solid educational background with a BA/BCom from the University of Auckland.
