Eugene Budkevich is currently a Counsel in the Group M&A division at bp, focusing on strategic reviews and high-profile mergers and acquisitions globally. Previously, Eugene served as a Counsel within the Supply, Trading & Shipping division at bp, leading efforts in implementing renewables and bio strategy as well as advising on trading activities. Prior to joining bp, Eugene worked at Baker McKenzie LLP, where they specialized in capital markets transactions, public and private acquisitions, and corporate governance. Eugene also participated in significant secondments, including to GSK and The Weir Group PLC, enhancing their experience in complex corporate matters across various jurisdictions. With a solid academic foundation, Eugene holds a Law (International) degree from Lancaster University, graduating with honors.
