Dr. Fawaz "Fuzzy" Bitar is a globally recognized energy executive with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. They served as District General Manager at GUPCO from 2002 to 2006, managing a significant production site and overseeing a large workforce. Fawaz held various senior roles at bp from 2018 to the present, including Chief of Staff to the CEO Upstream and Senior Vice President HSE & Carbon, where they lead initiatives in safety and sustainability. They earned a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, completing their studies in 2020.
