Fei Liu

Fei Liu has extensive experience in the commodity trading sector, starting as a Derivatives Trader at Trafigura from May 2015 to June 2016, focusing on arbitrage between the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and the London Metal Exchange (LME). Following this, Fei Liu served as a Director in the Hedging Deals Desk for Base Metals at Standard Chartered Bank from March 2017 to August 2023, specializing in commodity sales. Currently, Fei Liu is involved in Low Carbon Origination at bp, beginning in August 2023. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Standard Bank in the Physical Commodities Management Unit focused on Base Metals from September 2009 to November 2012. Fei Liu holds a Master of Science in Finance from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tsinghua University.
