Frances Howat

Frances Howat is currently the Head of Capability Development, Finance at BP, where they lead a global team focused on enhancing finance skills for employees and leaders. They have previously held various roles at BP, including Downstream Finance, Learning & Capability Lead, and Planning, Performance & Strategy Manager at Air BP. Frances also served as a Client Director at MTP plc, providing blended learning solutions in Finance and Business Management. They began their career as an Economic Assistant with the Scottish Office and have a BA Hons in Economics from Heriot-Watt University, along with fellowships from CIMA. Frances has experience as a charity trustee and school governor, contributing broadly to their community and professional sectors.
