Hal Simpson

Hal Simpson is a seasoned security and crisis management professional currently serving as the Director of Security and Crisis/Continuity Management at bp since September 2016. In this role, Hal collaborates with HR, Business Integrity, and Legal teams to conduct internal investigations that enhance workplace safety and productivity. Prior to bp, Hal held significant roles at Triple Canopy as the Director of Training, managing training operations for a large team and overseeing project management efforts, and at ArmorGroup as the Training Project Manager. Hal began a career at DynCorp International in various capacities, ultimately serving as a High Threat Diplomatic Protective Specialist and Lead Instructor. Hal's educational background includes studies at West Texas A&M University and Amarillo College.
