Hami Azad

Hami Azad has extensive experience in engineering management and mechanical engineering, with a notable tenure at Energy Industries Engineering & Design Co. (EIED) as a Lead Mechanical Engineer from August 2002 to March 2011. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for the H2Kwinana Green Hydrogen Hub at BP since August 2023, Hami previously held roles as Engineering Manager and Mechanical Technical Authority at BP from December 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included ensuring technical compliance, driving engineering standards, and managing engineering performance. Hami has also played key roles in large-scale turnaround projects at BP, leading engineering support and compliance efforts. Prior positions at BP included Technical Services Lead and Lead Engineer for various projects, demonstrating expertise in mechanical (static equipment and piping) and project management in delivering safe and efficient engineering solutions.
