Hongjun Luo

Hongjun Luo is a Senior Geologist and Petroleum Systems Analyst currently working at BP, where they facilitate petroleum systems projects in Gulf of Mexico Exploration. With extensive experience in basin modeling, petroleum geochemistry, and stratigraphy, Hongjun has led numerous studies and technical projects focused on both conventional and unconventional resources. They hold a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Wyoming and have previously worked at PetroChina, contributing to petroleum systems studies across various basins. Additionally, Hongjun began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming, specializing in stratigraphy.
