Indrajit Das

Indrajit Das is a Senior PPFG & Geomechanics Consultant at BP, currently developing LWD and Wireline programs alongside real-time monitoring and interpretation of Petrophysical and Geomechanical parameters. Trained at Stanford University, they earned a PhD in Geophysics, where they identified significant seismic signals related to hydraulic stimulation in shale gas reservoirs. Indrajit has over a decade of experience in analyzing microseismic datasets, with past roles including Research Geophysicist at Shell, where they integrated Geo-mechanics and Seismology, and contributed to multiple Carbon Capture and Sequestration projects. Their expertise also includes developing 3D geomechanical models and facilitating well planning processes.
