Jake Skelton has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having spent a significant portion of their career at BP. Currently serving as Deputy Drilling Engineering Manager since April 2011, Jake Skelton supports drilling engineering planning and program execution for Deepwater rig activities in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior roles at BP include Competence Management Manager and Wells Operations Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Drilling Engineering Advisor at BP America from 2000 to 2008, and Wells Team Leader for Exploration and Appraisal. Jake Skelton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned between 1972 and 1976.
