James Mackie is the Vice President of Health & Wellbeing for Europe and the Caspian and serves as the Interim CMO at BP. Previously, they worked as the Company Medical Adviser at National Grid, where they provided clinical leadership and strategic health support. Mackie also held the position of Medical Director at Serco, managing occupational health teams and services. Between 2012 and 2018 at BP, they oversaw health services in the UK and supported health initiatives for BP Shipping, alongside providing leadership on workplace mental health. Mackie earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Birmingham.
