Joe Boyd is a skilled Process & Process Safety Engineer at BP, with experience supporting operations across multiple assets in the North Sea since September 2014. In this role, Joe focuses on day-to-day operations support and risk management, collaborating closely with both offshore operations and onshore engineering teams. Between 2014 and 2015, Joe participated in BP's Downstream Challenge graduate program as a Chemical and Process engineer, gaining valuable experience through three one-year placements, including serving as an Asset Support Process Engineer for the Acetic Acid & Acetic Anhydride petrochemical plant. Joe's journey in the industry began with a Process Engineer Intern position in BP's North Sea midstream finance department in the summer of 2013. Joe holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering with Oil and Gas Technology from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 2014, and attended Aberdeen Grammar School prior to that.
