John Cubbon

John Cubbon is a Senior Petroleum Engineer with extensive experience in production optimization, sand management, and well integrity across various roles at BP and other companies. They worked at BP Azerbaijan from 2008 to 2016, significantly increasing production through optimization efforts. Earlier in their career, John served as a Coil Tubing Drilling Company Representative and held multiple engineering roles at Marathon Oil and Sakhalin Energy. Currently, John is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at Penn State University, having previously earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the same institution in 1990.
