John MacLean

John MacLean is the Head of Private Equity at BP Investment Management Ltd, where they lead an investment team in managing a global private equity program. They previously served as a Portfolio Manager in Private Equity at BP from 2011 to 2016 and were a Partner at Altius Associates from 2001 to 2011. John earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol and is currently pursuing an ACA at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Additionally, they completed the Private Equity Executive Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2014.
