John Phillippe

John Phillippe is currently the Senior Counsel at BP America Inc., a position held since 2019. They previously served as Chief Counsel for the Republican National Committee from 2009 to 2019 and held various roles in political communications, including Deputy Counsel and Director of Communications for McDonnell for Attorney General in 2005. John also practiced law as an Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP from 2005 to 2009. They earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia between 2001 and 2005, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1992 to 1996.
