John Wei

John Wei is an experienced engineer specializing in riser pipeline systems and subsea production operations. With a career spanning over a decade at bp as a Riser Pipeline Engineer in the Gulf of Mexico, John Wei has developed expertise in the field. Prior to this, John's leadership skills were demonstrated as the Riser Engineering Team Lead at Keppel FloaTEC, LLC, and foundational experience as a Riser Engineer at INTECSEA. John Wei holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Structural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's in Offshore Marine Structures from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
