Johnathan Stone

Johnathan Stone is an experienced investment director at bp since January 2006, leading investments in hydrogen and renewables and power startups within bp ventures. Previous roles at bp include venture principal, technology deployment manager, and seismic delivery manager, with international assignments across multiple regions. Johnathan is also a board member at C-Capture Ltd. and co-founder of Saile, where involvement included intrapreneurial activities with bp's incubation program. Prior experience includes a geophysicist role at Shell and a graduate investment manager position at OMAM. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Geophysics from the University of Leeds and additional studies at prestigious institutions such as Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Penn State University.
