Jon Owens

Jon Owens is a Senior Global Crisis Manager at bp, bringing extensive experience in security operations and crisis management within the oil and gas industry. Previously, Jon held roles such as Security Systems and Assurance Manager at Shell and Associate Director Operations at Ambrey Risk, where they oversaw operational service delivery and managed significant budgets and teams. They began their career in the British Army as a Captain in the Royal Welch Fusiliers, leading operational teams before transitioning to the private sector. Jon holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations & Strategic Studies from Lancaster University.
