Jon Therkleson

Jon Therkleson is a seasoned professional in the energy and commodities sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Producers for Global Structured Products at BP since December 2011. Therkleson has held significant positions in various prestigious financial institutions, including Director of Energy Derivative Sales at Societe Generale and Standard Chartered Bank, and Principal of Commodities Sales for EMEA & Asia at Bank of America. Earlier roles include Manager of Energy at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Manager of the Energy Division at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Therkleson began a career at BP in 1990 as Commercial Manager and has a solid educational background from The University of Queensland, where studies were completed from 1987 to 1990.
