Jose Monteiro

Jose Monteiro has extensive experience in turnaround management and maintenance planning within the petroleum industry, primarily with BP since 1994. As the BP Global TAR Advisor, Jose has overseen the safe and efficient execution of refinery turnarounds, managing various aspects including planning, engineering, and HSE compliance. Previous roles include Routine Maintenance Planning Superintendent, where Jose established a new Planning Organization for the Toledo Refinery, and Turnaround Lead Planner, focusing on budgeting and project control. Jose also held positions as Routine Maintenance Planner and Project Controls Lead at BP and Petrobras, contributing to the successful management of complex projects and maintenance schedules. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bluffton University.
