Joseph Dierkhising is a geophysicist with extensive experience in seismic research and interpretation. At the Nevada Seismological Laboratory from May 2013 to May 2015, Joseph focused on integrating seismic data to identify successful geothermal production areas. Following that, Joseph served as an Integrated Geophysics Intern at bp in 2014, where responsibilities included technical assessments and seismic modeling in the Gulf of Mexico. Currently, Joseph has been working at bp since May 2020, delivering quantitative seismic products, including seismic inversion and velocity modeling. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from California Polytechnic State University and a Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
