Joseph Hall, PhD, is a Staff Data Scientist at bp, where they lead a team focused on scaling financial forecasting models and innovative projects in computer vision and anomaly detection. With a decade of industry experience spanning roles in the financial and energy sectors, Joseph's journey includes past positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Vice President and a Control Engineer at StrathControl Limited. They began their academic pursuits at the University of Glasgow, earning a First Class Honours Bachelor of Engineering, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
