Kengo Suzuki

Kengo Suzuki currently serves as the Vice President of Global Strategic Partnership & Business Development at bp, focusing on global partnerships within the Broad Green Energy Portfolio as of January 2024. Prior to this role, Kengo held various positions at Albemarle Corporation from November 2019 to December 2023, including APAC Business Development Director for Next Generation Battery Materials and Japan Sales Director for the Lithium Global Business Unit, concentrating on lithium salts and specialty applications in the battery sector. Kengo’s experience also includes account and sales management roles at Celanese from August 2014 to November 2019, and a series of managerial positions at Teijin from June 2008 to July 2014. Early career experience includes working as an Assistant Manager at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. from January 2005 to May 2008. Kengo Suzuki holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aalto University, earned between 2009 and 2011.
