Lewis R.

Lewis R. is an experienced Exploration Geoscientist with over a decade at bp, currently leading gas exploration initiatives in Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean. They have a Master of Earth Sciences focused on applied geology and geophysics from the University of Manchester, which has provided a strong foundation for their work across diverse geographies including the North Sea, Azerbaijan, Africa, and the Caribbean. In addition to their technical expertise, Lewis has spearheaded efforts in Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage, contributing to the energy transition with low-carbon solutions. Outside of their professional pursuits, Lewis is actively involved as a school governor and Scout leader, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement and mentoring the next generation.
