Logan Riggs has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Head of Permian Production at bp since June 2007, with prior roles including Permian Operations Manager and Execute Manager, overseeing operations and engineering in the Permian Basin. Riggs's background includes work as an Offshore Engineer for the Thunderhorse project, providing engineering support for significant facility throughput, and various engineering roles where contributions included optimizing gas production, establishing safe operating limits, and decommissioning facilities to reduce operational costs. Riggs also led operations improvement initiatives for BPX Energy and began their career as a Cooperative Engineer at GE Plastics. Education was completed at Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
