Luis Castrillo is a thermal engineer and data scientist with a passion for leveraging data-driven insights to innovate and solve complex problems. They worked as a Thermal Engineer at Submer Immersion Cooling, where they developed thermal/fluid dynamics models and conducted experiments for single-phase immersion cooling applications. Subsequently, Luis served as an R&D Engineer at Submer, creating an active cooling device for immersion cooling and establishing foundational knowledge for optimal heat transfer. Currently, they are a Senior Technologist in Advanced Electrification Research at bp, while also pursuing a forecasting project utilizing IoT sensor data. Luis holds an MSc in Energy Engineering and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
