Mark Walters

Mark Walters is currently the Shetland Area Controller at BP, where they lead the implementation of the IFRS 16 accounting standard on leases. Mark has a diverse background in accounting, having worked as an Audit Senior and Manager at firms such as Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and PKF (UK) LLP. Previously, Mark held positions as a Group Accountant at Coflexip Stena Offshore Ltd and RBG Limited, where they managed group taxation returns and supervised teams. Mark completed their education in Accountancy and Finance at Heriot-Watt University and trained as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
